Sim City: Day 2/3 entry, Day 3 defenitions

My Sim city is going great! I found out how my city was losing money. I had a water and electrical shortage and people were getting all mad at me because they’re stupid and left! but everything is going good now. I fixed all of the problems except for pollution. I have a TON of trees, but it still says that my pollution in the city is at about 20%!!! Trees have betrayed me!!!! >=(

Definitions:

grid- a pattern of lines on a chart or map.

commerce- the buying and selling of goods and services through wireless handheld devices.

industry- the people or companies engaged in a particular kind of commercial enterprise.

residence- any address at which you dwell more than temporarily.

zoning- The public regulation of land and building use to control the character of a place.

property tax- An annual or semi-annual tax paid to one or more governmental jurisdictions based on the amount of the property assessment. Generally paid as part of the mortgage payment.

recreation- Activities undertaken by people for pleasure in their spare time, usually in the local area.

mayor- the head of a city government.

alderman- a member of a municipal legislative body (as a city council); “aldermen usually represent city wards”

common council- The Mayor, Aldermen and Capital Burgesses assembled for the transaction of the public business of the Borough, assisted by their Town Clerk.
